TINY GARDENS WORKSHOP

I was asked to deliver a series of workshops that were connected to my Tiny Gardens exhibition that was being displayed at the gallery.
The Wearables from your Recycling: Tiny Gardens workshop focused on participants using repurposed cardboard to make fun hybrid necklace and wall hanging artworks that depict flowers, bug and other critters that live in their gardens.
There was a child’s version and then a more broad version offered to adults which included options of brooches and earrings finishings.
Both workshops sold out and created a strong connection between the gallery’s exhibition space and their community engagment programming.
