WORKSHOP & EXHIBITION

The Sydney Children’s Hospital has The Arts Program which works with the Hospital to deliver creative exhibitions for the benefit of our current patients, families and staff. Unfortunately, due to the restrictions put in place to manage COVID-19, the hospital was unable to invite artists into the hospital to carry out workshops.
I was asked if I could come up with a project/workshop that could suit this format and I couldn’t say no.
I reuse a large scale printed artwork Fruit Party as the starting point. We then asked the patients at SCH to produced their own artworks inspired by this artwork. The work has been hung in the hallways of the hospital as a group show.
I supplied The Art Program staff with relevant video resources and advice on how the patients could carry out this workshop.
