COLLABORATION WITH STUDIO ARTES, 2019

WAITARA PARK PLAYGROUND, WAITARA

Studio ARTES offers creative programs with whole of life outcomes for adults with disabilities. Studio ARTES provides tailor-made creative activities and life skills.

For this project I worked with 8 Studio ARTES members to design and paint a mural at the all ability playground at Waitara Park. The design created was selected after being put to a public vote. The design features local flora and fauna, portraits of local community members and public transport.

My role was to manage the create component of the project. This included:

• Workshop of design concept with members

• Oversee final design composition

• Execute the mural painting with contributions from Studio ARTES members
