PAPER MOSAIC WORKSHOP

In this workshop participants will create their own tile using colour papers and cardboard. The tiles once completed are then hung on a wall to create a group mosaic. Subject matter and colour ways can very. Templates can also be made to help create cohesive shapes running through the works. For example, ‘G’ templates made for google

This workshop is a perfect activity for a community engagement projects and is suitable for all ages.

Workshop run time is 2 hours in duration.

15-60 people per session. (Children’s events will require guardians or supervisors to be present)

Breakdown: 

5 minutes : explaining my artistic background and showing examples of tiles and techniques

105 minutes : for colouring in the template

10 minutes: hanging the final tiles and documentation

  • access to power

What I will provide:

  • paper and cardboard

  • scissors and glue

  • markers for colouring

  • temporary boards to pin tiles to (if required)
