SCEGGS WORLD, 2026
Co-created mural for SCEGGS Primary school, Darlinghurst, Sydney.
I was asked to create a series of murals in collaboration with the K-6 primary school students for their playground area.
The client wanted all students participate within the projects and the mural had to speak to the schools approach to learning, school culture & aspirations for the future.
As a result I programmed the project to be rolled out over two terms allow for more thoughtful engagement & to suit the schools busy schedule.
In stage one I facilitated workshops with students were they were asked to create artworks that could go towards the mural design.
Once designed students were also involved in the painting process. Allowing them to be apart of the project at multiple stages and gain more hands on experience.
The project ended with a full school celebration where family and friends were invited along to see the murals & learn about the design process.
We had over 150 students participate from end-to-end on the mural.
