Reach For The Stars, 2025
Mural co-designed with Tempe Public School
Tempe, Sydney

I was asked by the Inner West Council to work with the students of Tempe Public School to design & paint a mural on an exterior wall at the school.

The mural was to celebrate some of the local female athletes that have represented Australia at the Olympics & Paralympics. With an aim to beautiful the environment and give the students the opportunity to engage with a professional practicing artist. Encourage confidence, collaboration & a future in the arts.

For the project I facilitated bespoke workshops where students drew artworks for the mural & they collaborated on decisions for the colour palette & overall design.

I also delivered a series of mural painting workshops where the students learnt mural tips & practical experience by helping to paint.

The project engaged 15 students from all year groups from end-to-end. the project was funded by the Inner West Council.
