WEARABLES FROM YOUR RECYCLING WORKSHOP

In this workshop participants will learn how to making fun wearable art pieces from their recycling and old unused jewellery that they have laying around the house. The wearable pieces could be earrings, necklaces, brooches or a ring depending on what we decide best suits your workshop attendees. The participants will receive access to an online instructional video to help them along their way. The construction process is fun, simple and suitable for all ages. It should also hopefully inspire participants to reconsider what they throw away as rubbish and encourage them to experiment a bit more during their craft-a-noon sessions at home.

The workshops will be revolved around a theme, for example past workshops have been Fruit Salad and Flower Garden wearables.

Who is this perfect for:

  • school groups

  • after school care organisations

The instructional video will be about 30min in length. It will have a short introduction to my practise and the workshop. Participants will be given password access to it for a 2-week time period (unless otherwise negotiated). The video will be uploaded to my website.

The workshop itself will take anywhere from 1-2hrs to complete one pieces wearable piece. Depending on how much effort the participant puts into it. If they want to make multiple ornaments the workshop could very easily become multiple hours.
